Last year I bought a used car and boy did this car have problems. I first found Brian because this is the only Transmision shop with an A+ rating with the BBB, and I definately can see why they have an A+ rating, The first job he did was rebuild my transmission he was very reasonable did quality work and offered the best warranty of any Transmission place I could find he also did it very quickly, which was an added bonus. Did I mention the Transmission still works great!... now on to the next problem I have a 2002 Saturn or should I call it a Stall-urn... in anycase this problem is a bit complicated to diagnose especially since it didn't report an error code most of the time.... Brian could've just started replacing parts and charging me mega amounts of money... but he didn't, instead he took the time to make sure something was broke before he fixed it, he has saved me so much money that he makes every other mechanic I've ever been to look bad..... I feel like he is part of the family. When looking for a mechanic you want honesty, quality work, and affordablity and Brian gives you all of this. I was about 100 miles from home when my transmission failed. Rick Case Honda quoted 5 days and $5,300 for a re-manufactured transmission and a new computer, which they said was 'totally messed up.' They even told me they'd have a salesman call me about some great deals on new cars. No thanks. I started calling other transmission shops, and got more and more confused. Some sounded great, but had tons of online customer complaints and bad Better Business Bureau ratings. Then I called Brian at Transmission Doctor. I'm like one other person I don't have the time or patience to post but reading these comments I had to say something. Almost 10yrs ago I took 1992 Mazda to his shop he ended up replacing the computer for one third the cost. It took him several days but he didn't stop until he found the actual problem. Brian is extremely honest with a great personality I've at least three vehicles to him since and have never been disappointed.

My Mitsubishi eclipse was stuck in third gear for months. I was unable to find the right person to resolve the problem until a friend suggested Brian. I dealt with Brian directly after extensive research of mechanics in the area. A certified Goerend installer for diesel owners is a must and Brian proves to know much about the mechanics of todays diesel transmission. Transmission Doctor is reliable, fair and mostly honest. He repaired my rear main engine seal and oil pan gasket in June 2011. While it was taken apart Brian informed me the driver's axle needed to be replace and for only the cost of the part he took care of it without additional labor cost. I'll return for future work and will recommend him to my family and friends.

I searched around for an honest transmission shop when my 03 BMW had a transmission failure, the dealership wanted $6000+ and Brian took care of it for less than half that and it drives great going on a year now. I have a second BMW needing some work and Brian will be taking care of it for sure.

When my wife's 1986 Chevrolet Celebrity Wagon developed a problem in the early 90's, my mechanic told me to take it to Brian. I did, and he rebuilt the transmission in 2 days and it has been running like-new ever since. Brian also rebuilt the transmission on my 1990 Olds Cutlass Ciera, and more recently, on my companies' 2005 Chevrolet Express G200 Van. After the Van's transmission was rebuilt it felt like I was driving a regular car and not a heavy commercial vehicle! Now the gas mileage is much better and it was all done for not more than the cost of a regular transmission rebuild--for which Brian charges a very modest cost.

I shelled out the front diff on my yukon on the way to my sisters last Christmas. Brian took the time to research a replacement part. The final cost was precisely the same as he quoted. He was concerned about getting my yukon repaired in time for me to return to Minnesota when I needed to get back. I had a conversation with one of Brian's employees. His employee said Bian was like a father to him. I run a body shop in Minnesota and I would say that Brian has the best transmission operation I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.
